Visor exists to reduce the cognitive load of live multi-camera direction.
Small productions rarely have the luxury of a dedicated technical director. Visor is being designed for the creator, host, or operator who already understands scenes and cameras, but does not want to carry every switching decision alone.
Product intent
Not a broadcasting suite. Not a black-box automation layer.
Visor is a focused companion app for OBS-based workflows. It is not trying to replace OBS, manage destinations, or become a full production operating system in V1. The product is strongest when it stays narrow, understandable, and operator-friendly.
Core principle
Trust must be earned through clarity.
That means visible state, visible intent, obvious mode boundaries, and immediate human override. The design language should reflect calm competence rather than AI spectacle.
The first users are operators already running simple multi-camera OBS setups.
Creator conversations
Two or three cameras, a desktop OBS workflow, and just enough production complexity that manual switching becomes distracting.
Small live operators
Panel sessions, workshops, or discussion streams where one person is carrying both content and production responsibilities.
What comes next
The web presence should set expectations clearly before the product ever asks for trust.
That means a site that explains the lane Visor is in, who it is for, and how the product thinks about control. The goal is clarity, not hype.
